The basis of the Connected Motorcycle Consortium (CMC) was laid in the year 2015 when the founding members BMW Motorrad, Honda and Yamaha agreed upon the need to further enhance PTW safety by the means of C-ITS. This initial partnership has led to the establishment of CMC.

The Core Members are involved in research and development activities on C-ITS systems for PTW and the joint promoting of these technologies.

Currently these other CMC Members provide a support – corresponding to their chosen participation type – for Working and/or Task Groups of the Connected Motorcycle Consortium.

Further information about participating in CMC can be found here.
